He completed his Bachelor of Science at Western University, where he earned a gold medal and the honour of Gonfalonier by achieving the highest academic average in his program and faculty. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto and was directly accepted to the University of British Columbia where he completed his orthodontic specialty training and Master of Science degree. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, dedicated to the highest standards of orthodontics.

In his free time, he can be found spending it with his fiancée Mirian, who is also training to be an orthodontist. Together, they have a cute bunny, named Mashi. He is also a competitive badminton player and has hobbies like archery, pottery, filmmaking, snorkeling, and non-profit work.
